“Marriage is like a golden ring in a chain, whose beginning is a glance and whose ending is eternity" ~ Kahlil Gibran
Weddings are, for many, the ultimate sign of love for one another. Generally regarded as the happiest day of your life, it's important to have photographs that will remind you always of the special day. When I photograph weddings, the work begins long before the couple arrives at the church. I spend time with them to get to know them, understand their visions, and help them to understand exactly what I can do for them. I want to know who they are, and just what this special day will be like. I pride myself on being a part of the ceremony without interrupting the flow of energy that makes every wedding special. I work to plan as much as possible before the service, so that the couple has one less thing to worry about on their big day. I believe in a photojournalistic style of wedding photography where the bulk of the images are captured moments of reality rather than stiff, posed images. That said, I always try to get some private time with the couple, both individually and together, before and after the service to create beautiful images that the couple will be proud to hang in a frame for years to come.
